The P.E.A.C.E. Project: Pathways to Equity, Accountability, Connection, and Engagement
A structured, trauma-informed space designed to support healing for individuals who have experienced harm—and, when appropriate, those who have caused harm. Accountability and healing can exist at the same time.
Individuals impacted by crime or harm
Survivors seeking space to process and be heard
Individuals who have caused harm and are ready to take responsibility
Cases where both parties voluntarily choose to engage (when appropriate and safe)
For Survivors:
A space where your experience is centered—not questioned or minimized
The opportunity to process harm in a supported, structured way
Choice in how (or if) you engage in any restorative dialogue
For Those Who Caused Harm:
A structured process to take accountability
Space to understand impact without defensiveness or avoidance
Support in making meaningful repair—not performative apologies
