Hi, my name is Amanda. I am a clinical social work intern specializing in working with individuals who have been impacted by the justice system, as well as those living with bipolar disorder, trauma, chronic illness, and disability.
My approach is person-centered, meaning I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is not to tell you who to be—but to support you in understanding yourself, navigating challenges, and building a life that aligns with your values.
I work from a trauma-informed and systems-aware perspective. That means I don’t just look at symptoms—I look at the environments, systems, and experiences that shaped them. Many of the people I work with have had to survive in ways that were necessary at the time. In our work together, we create space to process those experiences and decide what you want moving forward.
My style is direct, honest, and grounded. I won’t offer empty reassurance or surface-level solutions. What I will offer is a space where you can show up as you are—without judgment—and be met with respect, curiosity, and real support.
In addition to clinical services, I also provide advocacy and support services, and program development services. Please see our Services & Products page for more information.
